Itinerary : Mount Kilimanjaro trekking 7 days
Depart from your home town to Arusha in Tanzania.
Kili Safaris Adventure driver guides will meet and greet you at the Airport. Then they will take you to Arusha Hotels for the Dinner and over night.
ACCLIMATIZATION DAY ON THE SLOPES OF MOUNT MERU
Visit the Arusha National Park on the slopes of mount Meru for acclimatization hike where you'll have a chance to see wildlife animals including, warthog, zebra, giraffe and antelopes. You will be back at the hotel for dinner and overnight. Remember that before you go to the Arusha park you will have a briefing with your Kilimanjaro Guide and Mountain gears check up
DAY 4: DRIVE TO UMBWE GATE
You will start your trekking through Umbwe gate. At the gate you will have a chance to meet with your guides, porters and all crew who will be with you on the trek. You’ll be walking along the Rain forest until Umbwe cave where you will spend a night. Dinner and over night will be at Umbwe cave 9300ft and total trekking hours will be 6 to 7 hours.
DAY 5 :UMBWE CAVES TO BARRANCO CAMP 13000FT
TREKKING HOURS 6--7
Earlly in morning start your hike through the rain forest to moorland zone, it will be a steep up to Barranco Camp where your going to spend a night.
Day 6 :ACCLIMATIZATION DAY AT BARRANCO CAMP
You will spend an extra day at Barranco camp for acclimatization, your guide will take you to 15000ft with picnic lunch then back to Barranco camp for dinner and over night.
DAY 7: BARRANCO TO KARANGA CAMP , 13100ft
TREKKING HOURS WILL BE 3 TO 5
At morning start with the Barranco Wall, a little bit challaging and scrambling with a very spectacular views. Then cross the rolling ridges of Karanga Valley to your next camp, where you will have lunch, dinner and over night there
